Moss Le Petit is shaped by what we value. “Moss” is drawn from the moss stitch—simple, textured and timeless. “Le Petit,” meaning “little ones,” adds a gentle reference to childhood.

Together, it reflects our approach to thoughtful design for little ones.

 

OUR STORY

Welcome. I’m so glad you’re here. 

At 61, after more than 30 years in design and production, I founded Moss Le Petit in the winter of 2023—a conscious decision to step away from a world driven by fast fashion. 

Moss Le Petit was created to offer thoughtfully made knitwear for little ones, with a minimalist aesthetic and unparalleled comfort—always with deep respect for the hands that craft each piece, and for the world they will grow up in.

Today, I share my life with my two children, four grand bebés, and Nica, the black cat, here on the Mornington Peninsula.

THE MUSE OF MOSS – ELSIE

My grandchildren are an important part of the team!

From the very beginning, Elsie (my youngest grand bebé) has been my source of inspiration. She's been there for the first test knits, helped choose colours, modelled for fittings and even wore a bird's nest in her hair for our debut photoshoot.
